On Wednesday, 14 September 2022, a signing ceremony was held between Holiday Inn Resort and Agung Sedayu Group at Pasir Putih Beach PIK 2.

This event was attended by the board of directors of Agung Sedayu Group and invited guests from InterContinental Hotel Group and was marked by signing of the MOU by Ipeng Widjojo, COO of Hotels Division 2 Agung Sedayu Group and Rajit Sukumaran, Managing Director of South East Asia and Korea IHG Hotels & Resorts.

IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world's leading hotel companies, announced Indonesia's first urban beachfront resort under the Holiday Inn brand.

Planned to open in 2024, Holiday Inn Resort PIK 2 White Sand Beach will be the first resort to be built along ±4 km of white sand beach area and will be followed by the construction of various world-class facilities and destinations such as Land's End, fine dining restaurants, Dreamville Beach Club, Cork&Screw Beach Club, Aloha Pasir Putih, Ginza Beachwalk, and Community Park event space.
