The Clean Water Facility (SAB) is part of an effort to make it easier for communities, especially in areas with limited access to clean water, to obtain safe and reliable water.

On Friday, November 1st, 2024, PIK2 inaugurated a Clean Water Facility (SAB) at Baiturrahman Mosque in Lemo Village. This mosque marks an initial step by PIK2 in improving clean water quality at places of worship, following the construction of two other Clean Water Facilities (SAB) in Muara Village and Tanjung Pasir Village. The facility also benefits nearby residents who struggle with access to clean water. “Alhamdulillah, with the availability of this Clean Water Facility, congregants can notice a difference in the water’s taste, clarity, and cleanliness, making it comfortable to use,” said Ustadz Muhammad Mustopan, a member of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) at Baiturrahman Mosque.

Additionally, Baiturrahman Mosque received further assistance presented symbolically by Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, MM, Director of Estate Management PIK2, along with Okto Fianus, representing PIK2’s Community Development. The assistance included a mosque carpet and a vacuum cleaner to enhance comfort for worshippers.

With the Clean Water Facility (SAB) and improvements to worship facilities, it is hoped congregants will find it easier to access clean water, as purification is a fundamental step in worship for Muslims, thereby enhancing their comfort and experience in worship.
