PIK2 SUPPORTS HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH JOB TRAINING PROGRAM

On Friday, March 21, 2025, PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua, Tbk, in collaboration with the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office, held the inauguration of the Job Training Center and the opening of a new batch of job training programs for the community in Tangerang Regency. The event took place at the Kosambi Regional Technical Operational Unit (UPTD) under the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office and was attended by Tangerang Regency Drs. Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, M.Si., along with Agung Sedayu Group’s Estate Management Director, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M, both expressed their full support for this job training initiative. 


Additionally, a symbolic handover of training equipment and certificates was conducted for participants from LPK Pelita Ilmu Sejahtera (Piltera) as a form of appreciation for their participation. This moment serves as a tangible proof of PIK2’s CSR commitment to enhancing community skills and competencies, aiming to provide broader benefits. 
Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized the importance of maximizing the Kosambi Job Training Center as a training hub that can create employment opportunities, particularly in the northern coastal region. “We invite business owners to collaborate in facilitating participants’ needs, such as providing equipment and other support, so they are well-prepared to enter the workforce after completing their training,” he added. He also stated that currently, 200 job seekers have undergone job training tailored to meet the demands of industries operating in Tangerang Regency, including those in PIK2. 


Meanwhile, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office, Rudi Hartono, explained that the Kosambi Job Training Center building has a maximum capacity of up to 1,260 participants and spans a total area of 12,090 m² with complete facilities. “The first wave of training at the Kosambi Job Training Center follows the theme ‘Competency-Based and Community-Oriented Job Training for a Skilled Workforce,’ with 200 participants enrolled in various training programs. This initiative aims to produce high-quality workers who are ready to compete in the industrial sector and entrepreneurship,” he stated. 


The event concluded with a tour of the facility designated for future training activities, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the signing of a commemorative plaque as a symbol of its inauguration. This initiative is expected to be a concrete step in supporting community capacity building and skill development, ultimately creating a positive impact and broader opportunities for participants in the workforce and self-development.
