PENGUSAHA PEDULI NKRI THROUGH THE TZU CHI BUDDHIST FOUNDATION INDONESIA AND THE DKI PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT SEND 30 TONS OF RICE TO CIANJUR

Living as social beings certainly makes it obligated for us to care for each other. There are many forms of caring, one of which is by helping others, as was the case during the earthquake that occurred in Cianjur, West Java at the end of last November.

Agung Sedayu Group together with Pengusaha Peduli NKRI and the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation Indonesia through the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta provided 4 (four) trucks of basic necessities consisting of a total of 30 tons of rice and 1,500 boxes of instant noodles. Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Drs. Heru Budi Hartono M.M accompanied by Hong Tjhin, General Secretary of the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation Indonesia as well as representing Entrepreneurs Care for the Republic of Indonesia let off trucks containing humanitarian aid for earthquake victims to the Cianjur Regency Government represented by the Assistant for General Administration of Cianjur Regency, R. Dedi Sudrajat, together with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Cianjur Regency, in the Courtyard of the Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday 14th of December 2022.

Hong Tjhin explained that this assistance was collected from Pengusaha Peduli NKRI who collaborated with the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation and the media of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The Pengusaha Peduli NKRI are very pleased to be given the opportunity to work with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to distribute humanitarian assistance to residents affected by the earthquake in Cianjur on November 21st, 2022.

“I hope that this assistance can be channelled in a coordinated, targeted and effective manner. Hence, the distribution is in accordance with the number of people in need. Hopefully this assistance will be useful, and hopefully the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Cianjur Regency can escort it to its destination. Once again, to the donors, thank you for your contribution,” Acting Governer Heru added.

This activity was also attended by Deputy Governor for Culture and Tourism for DKI Jakarta Province, Marullah Matali, Acting Regional Secretary for DKI Jakarta, Uus Kuswanto, Assistant Government Secretary for DKI Jakarta, Sigit Wijatmoko, and Chief Executive of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) DKI Jakarta, Isnawa Adji.
