CBD PIK2 is a ±400-hectare integrated commercial, office, and business area, creating an ideal environment for various economic activities. Located within this area is the Menara Syariah, situated in the Islamic Financial Center, which serves as Southeast Asia’s largest sharia-based economic ecosystem. 

On Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, an MoU Signing Ceremony was held between Menara Syariah and 4 universities: Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, and IAIN Ponorogo. 

Prof. Dr. Miftahul Huda, M.Ag., Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation at IAIN Ponorogo, expressed his enthusiasm: 
“This initiative is highly relevant and essential for our university, especially in strengthening human resources and equipping our students to contribute to the development of the sharia ecosystem. At our campus, we have a Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business with 5 sharia-focused study programs. Collaboration with PIK2, particularly Menara Syariah, is crucial. We hope this partnership aligns with our expectations and illuminates the path for a truly thriving sharia economy in Indonesia.” 

The planned involvement of these universities in the PIK2 area is expected to complement existing facilities, further establishing PIK2 as a growing hub for education and business.
