We are very honored to welcome the King of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, to PIK2 on Saturday, 29th June 2024. This visit focuses on exchanging insights on urban development and emphasizing the concept of sustainable living both in Bhutan and in PIK2.

Bhutan is developing a new city called Gelephu Mindfulness City, located in Sarpang District located in Southern Bhutan. The King of Bhutan's visit was to understand the development strategy of PIK2, The New Jakarta City, which includes a master plan including tourism, business, infrastructure, facilities and residential areas.

During his visit, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck accompanied by the Chairman of Agung Sedayu Group, Sugianto Kusuma and the Board of Directors jointly explored several main areas of PIK2, including Golf Island and the Central Business District (CBD) PIK2. During the visit, group photos were also taken against the backdrop of the iconic Soekarno-Hatta monument of PIK, symbolizing the spirit of collaboration and shared vision for future development.

Alexander Halim Kusuma in his speech hoped that this trip would be useful and could bring ideas and strategies from what had been carried out at PIK2 to be useful for the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Agung Sedayu Group certainly feels grateful for the opportunity to be able to present its masterpiece, named PIK2, and to be able to hold discussions with His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

This visit not only strengthens relations but is also hoped to pave the way for future collaboration.
