Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman led the inauguration of the Panzer Anoa Monument in the PIK2 area, Kosambi Sub-District, Tangerang Regency on 22 August 2023. The inauguration was part of a series of activities to celebrate the 78th Indonesian Independence Day which had been started by the Jaya Military Regional Command and Regional Leader Coordinating Forum of DKI Jakarta since 20 August 2023. Attended by Territorial Assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army, Pangdam Jaya, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, Banten Regional Police Chief, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Acting Governor of Banten, Kasdam Jaya, Irdam Jaya, Kapok Sahli,  Danrem, PA LO TNI AL and PA LO TNI AU, Regent of Tangerang, Resort Police Chief of Tangerang, Danrindam Jaya, Kodam Jaya's Kabalak/Dansat, Head of DKI Jakarta Tourism Department, Head of the Tanjung Priok Port Health Office, Head of the Tanjung Priok Port Authority and Harbormaster Office and the Representatives of Agung Sedayu Group. 

 "Anoa Monument is a symbol of the Army. Not only that, Anoa Panzers are also used by UN peacekeeping forces for a number of world peace mission," said Chief of Staff Dudung in his remarks. Chief of Staff Dudung also appreciated Jaya Military Regional Command that has build the monument. This is a matter of pride, because the Panzer Anoa is made by the nation's children. "It is full of history of struggle as well as being a hallmark and pride. This shows togetherness and good cooperation between the ranks of the Jaya Military Regional Command and the community," he said.

On the same day, blood donation activities and provision of social and stunting assistance were also carried out symbolically. Apart from that, there was also a decorative boat race which was attended by dozens of participants at PIK2's White Sand Beach, not far from the inauguration site of the Panzer Anoa Monument.
