MASS CIRCUMCISION HELD IN TELUKNAGA SUB-DISTRICT

On Thursday, December 19th, 2024, PIK2 organized a mass circumcision event as a gesture of care for children in the Tangerang Regency area, particularly in Teluknaga Sub-District. This event also served as a valuable moment to fulfill religious obligations and support education for the Muslim community. PIK2 initiated and facilitated the Mass Circumcision event, which took place at the Teluknaga Sub-District Office.

The event was attended by the Chairman of Teluknaga Youth Organization (Karang Taruna), Prayogo Ahmad Zaidi. In his remarks, he expressed his gratitude, saying, “We thank PIK2 for their exceptional concern for the people of Teluknaga Sub-District. Previously, we witnessed the distribution of basic necessities in villages affected by flooding within Teluknaga Sub-District, and now we see the mass circumcision event. This shows that PIK2’s development activities truly consider the surrounding communities. Therefore, the presence of PIK2 among us certainly brings positive impacts, especially for the residents of Teluknaga Sub-District.”

This event represents a tangible collaboration among various parties to facilitate underprivileged children in undergoing circumcision, aiming to bring blessings and health.

Several residents expressed their happiness and gratitude for the event. Hendry, one of the parents whose child participated, shared, “Personally, I’m very pleased because this is very helpful. Due to our financial situation, my child was only able to undergo circumcision now. I’m truly thankful to PIK2 for organizing this mass circumcision event. My hope is that such initiatives can be expanded, perhaps with other community-oriented activities.”

It is hoped that this event not only serves as a platform to help children fulfill his religious practice but also becomes a source of hope, prayers, and sincere joy. Furthermore, it is hoped that these children will grow to become righteous individuals, devoted to their parents, and beneficial to their religion and nation.
