The Fire Department is an institution that has an important role in maintaining public safety. They are tasked with carrying out efforts to control fires and related disasters such as forest fires, building fires, gas leaks, and evacuating fatalities.

On Tuesday, September 24th 2024, an outing was held with the children of Muara Village with the aim of introducing them to the profession of a firefighter. Children are also taught how to handle fire, recognize various types of safety equipment, and understand the importance of courage and team work.

This activity: Through this “Kak Rara goes to Fire Station”, it is hoped that it can foster a patriotic, brave and tough attitude in children and they can be inspired to become individuals who care about safety, are always ready to face challenges, and foster a sense of mutual help. This is also one of Community Development PIK2’s efforts to teach disaster mitigation from an early age to children in the surrounding area.
