Successfully carrying out the event entitled the 1st HOGERS Indonesia Drag Race of National Events (HI-DRONE) in November 2023, HOGERS Indonesia officially announced the implementation of the 2nd HI-DRONE which was held on 17-18 May 2024 at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, North Jakarta. This national scale event held by HOGERS is a drag race or straight track racing and agility as well as skills using a large Harley Davidson motorbike. This activity is also fully supported by the Head of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet).

Yudi Djadja as Director of HOGERS Indonesia said, "The second one has a slightly different theme that in this second drage race there is a Rodeo. Rodeo is more about agility and safety. At Hogers there are 3 pillars that we always implement, namely Touring, Charity and Gathering. In addition to this HI-DRONE, it has become 4 pillars with the aim of solidarity, sportsmanship and a sense of togetherness between big motorbike users, especially Harley Davidson."

"This event is a follow-up event to the first HI-DRONE. This event was held again, besides this will be our annual event, the interest from big motorbike automotive fans, especially Harley Davidson, is very high. This can also be proven from the greater number of starters taking part this year, which is almost over 800 starters. In this 2nd HI-DRONE there is an additional class that is contested, namely Fast and Curious which is called the curious class. With this, the target is to increase to above 800 or even 1000 starters. The enthusiasm for motorbike riders is very large, especially supported by the Pantai Indah Kapuk area, where for all of you this area is not just a residential area, but this is part of a motorized tourism area for motorbike communities, so hopefully it can become an area motorized tourism. This was welcomed by HOGERS Indonesia, hence we held a HI-DRONE event at PIK2," said Ristiawan, Deputy Director of HOGERS Indonesia & Head of the Organizing Committee.

According to Yudi Djadja, HI-DRONE is held again at PIK2 because this area is extraordinary in terms of asphalt and an area that allows drag races to be held again. The 2nd series of HI-DRONE also continues to grow the community's economy through the MSME industry because it involves many workshops and motorbike transportation service businesses (towing). This includes inviting food and beverages MSMEs who are members of the BARBAZAR community to participate in opening a business at the event location.

"Now we have become a tourist city, a tourist area, now we have also become a destination area for automotive because almost every week there are automotive activities here, and soon we will become a MICE city because many MICE venues are being built here," added Ryan Adrian, Director Commercial Convention and Exhibition of Agung Sedayu Group.
