PIK2 continues to strive to contribute to improving educational infrastructure in the surrounding area. The groundbreaking of SDN Salembaran is the first step towards creating better educational facilities for children in surrounding area.

Held on August 27th 2024, at Salembaran Jati Village, Kosambi Sub-District, the Groundbreaking ceremony of SDN Salembaran I was symbolically inaugurated by Acting Regent of Tangerang Regency Dr. Andi Ony P., M.Si, Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M and Deputy Chairman of the Tangerang Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) H. Kholid Ismail, S.Ag.

“I hope that this development is not just physical. But we also have to change our mindset. Let us support and maintain the facilities and infrastructure that have been created, including our teaching staff. Let’s try to improve the abilities and competency capacities of all teachers so that our students can become role models for the nation and the pride of Tangerang Regency in the future,” said Andi Ony in his speech.

Restu Mahesa explained that this school building will be built on an area of ±2917m2 with a building area of ±764m2. “12 years of mandatory education is one of the government programs that we must succeed together. ASG together with Community Development and PANI from the private sector in Tangerang Regency will build schools as a form of social responsibility from PIK2 in one pillar of education which is part of the programs that have been carried out so far,” he added.

With this development, it is hoped that it can be completed in mid-2025. So that in the new academic years SDN 01 Salembaran will be able to accommodate more students who will attend school and it is hoped that a conducive and adequate learning environment will be created for students in Salembaran also becomes a fun place to learn and supports the next generation to achieve their dreams.
