Saturday, 14 October 2023, the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Nafiri Discipleship Church (NDC)-The Core was held at PIK2. This event is symbolic of the start of church construction which will also complete th facilities and worship facilities at PIK2.

The event was opened with singing praises and offerings, then reading the Word of God delivered by Ps. Josia Abdisaputera, M.Th as Senior Pastor of NDC, followed by remarks by Pdp. Andrianto Dernatra, Head of the Development Committee NDC PIK 2 , Dr. Jeane Marie Tulung S.Th, M.Pd as Director General of Christian Community Guidance as a representative from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Of course the government supports the implementation of this groundbreaking. The Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and we at the Directorate General of Christian Community Guidance strongly support this implementation and this is also a sign of good and planned intentions to serve the congregation. I believe that this church will increasingly become a blessing not only for Christians, but for many people. God always bless us all and Shalom," said Dr. Jeane in her speech.

The Groundbreaking procession was also attended by Natalia Kusumo as CEO of Agung Sedayu Group, Ipeng Widjoyo as Business Development Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Irwan Djohansjah as Director of Master Planning & Development of Agung Sedayu Group along with other board members of Agung Sedayu Group.

"We chose this place because the development is extraordinary. Apart from that, because this place will later become a church and conference venue, I see that the PIK location is very strategic because it is close to the airport. there will also be a mall, so that makes me think that I should enter PIK2 because it will progress in this place." Said Ps. Josia during an interview after the event.

At the end of the event, it was closed with a joint prayer led by Ps. Josia Abdisaputera, M.Th. It is hoped that all stages of the NDC PIK2 development process can run smoothloy and be completed on time.
