THE BIGGEST DESIGN & LIFESTYLE EXPO IN INDONESIA IS PRESENT AT PIK2

Indonesia Design District (IDD) presents a comprehensive retail concept with a row of the best tenants from the creative and lifestyle industries.

The demographic bonus in Indonesia is now increasingly visible with the increasing growth of the new families and expanding to various satellite cities in Jakarta. The Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area as an integrated independent city also offers various types of residential, commercial, lifestyle retail, offices and tourist destinations accompanied by various comprehensive facilities for residents and visitors. One of the newest conceptual destinations presented by Agung Sedayu Group (ASG) and Salim Group is the Indonesia Design District (IDD) curated by Amantara (a subsidiary of ASG).

This mega project covering an area of +12 Ha with a semi-outdoor concept was officially opened on 16 September 2023. As the "Largest Design and Lifestyle Expo in Indonesia", IDD has more than 200 well-known local and international brands, ranging from home living, interior, lifestyle products, to works of art. The open corridors and lush gardens that connect all the stores in this area were also designed by DP Architects based in Singapore in collaboration with local studio Seniman Ruang. The furniture in the public areas is neatly designed by Alvin Tjitrowirjo and also represents IDD's mission in supporting the creative industry in Indonesia. "The presence of IDD further complements the variety of industrial sectors in the PIK2 area so that it can continue to attract the interest of local and international business people," said Natalia Kusumo, CEO of Commercial & Hotels Agung Sedayu Group (Amantara). From the consumer side, she added that "this one-stop shopping area is the best place to shop at to fulfill all your furniture & home decorations needs."

The IDD opening ceremony was enlivened with a series of events ranging from ribbon cutting, gala dinner at the IDD Townhall, fun entertainment, and the IDD Best Store Awards. This event was also attended by members of the Board of Directors of Agung Sedayu Group, Salim Group, and Erajaya Group, owners and tenant representatives, investors, VVIP guests, as well as Indonesian lifestyle influencers.
