The coastal area of Tangerang Regency, Ketapang Village, will host the international Partnership in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) Network of Local Government (PNLG) event which is planned to be hold in October this year.

This PEMSEA event is a partnership among coastal cities, from 12 country and 53 members who will present some development program. Related to this event, Tangerang Regent A. Zaki Iskandar invited PT. Kukuh Mandiri Lestari – PIK2 to collaborate in setting coastal areas in the Tangerang Regency area.

This was revealed by the Regent when holding meeting on the preparation of the PNLG PEMSEA event with PT. Kukuh Mandiri Lestari at the Mercure PIK Jakarta Hotel, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

"(With) The existence of this event, hopefully there will be collaboration between PIK2 and the Tangerang Regency Government in developing the Tangerang Mangrove Center area in Teluknaga," explained Ahmed Zaki Iskandar.

Regent Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, who also acts as Vice President of PNLG, said that the Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) has succeeded in building and improving the coastal area in Ketapang Village as a mangrove conservation area and Ketapang Aquaculture ecotourism, this will be Indonesia's pride worldwide.

Hopefully, the PEMSEA event held at Ketapang Aquaculture in October 2022 will be successfully. The plan is that the program in Ketapang Village will also be tried to be included in the calendar highlights at the Presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20) which carries the theme "Recover Together, Recover Stronger" to represent Indonesia.
