The celebration of Eid al-Adha is a moment to recall the story of Prophet Ibrahim who was ready to sacrifice his son Ismail at the behest of Allah SWT. This celebration also teaches us about the importance of being willing to sacrifice the best for the sake of religion and fellow human beings. Sacrifice is one of the rituals in celebrating Eid al-Adha.

Welcoming Eid al-Adha 1444 H, on 28 June 2023, PIK 2 distributed total 21 goats for sacrifice to the Teluknaga Sub-District and Kosambi Sub-District. 2 goats each were distributed to the Teluknaga Military Headquarters, Teluknaga Sectoral Police Force, Tangerang Regency Department of Transportation, Kosambi Sub-District, Teluknaga Sub-District, Tanjung Burung Village, Tanjung Pasir Village, and 1 goat each to the Jami’ Al-Idrussiyah Dadap Mosque, Salembaran Jati Village, Kosambi Timur Village, Kosambi Barat Urban Village, Muara Village, Lemo Village, and Pangkalan Village.

The sacrificial animals were distributed directly by representatives from the PIK2 Team to their respective areas. By distributing sacrificial animals, it is hoped that it can strengthen ties of friendship and increase a sense of togetherness among human beings.
