B UNIVERSE SENDS OFF EID HOMECOMING COVERAGE TEAM AT TOKYO RIVERSIDE PIK2
Welcoming the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the annual homecoming (mudik) tradition is a highly anticipated moment for Indonesians. In support of this year’s homecoming season, B Universe officially dispatched its 2025 Eid Homecoming Coverage Team on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the B Universe Office, Tokyo Riverside PIK2. The team will begin reporting on travelers’ journeys starting March 24, 2025.
The send-off event was attended by several key officials, including the Director of Aircraft Airworthiness & Operations at the Ministry of Transportation, Mohamad Mauludin; Director of Risk Management at Jasa Raharja, Harwan Mudidarman; Head of Operations at the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), Commissioner Aries Syahbudin; and Executive Chairman of B Universe, Enggartiasto Lukita.
In his remarks, Commissioner Aries Syahbudin expressed full support for B Universe’s Homecoming Coverage Team, which will provide up-to-date reports from key locations such as ports, terminals, and train stations. Jasa Raharja also expressed its commitment by deploying teams to 22 posts from Lampung to East Java to serve travelers, especially along arterial roads and national highways.
Meanwhile, Mohamad Mauludin predicted that the peak of the homecoming flow will occur 3 days before Eid and urged travelers to prioritize safety during their journey.
On a different note, Enggartiasto Lukita explained the reason behind choosing PIK2 as the location for B Universe’s office, citing the rapid growth of the area and the wide range of facilities available to all staff. Harwan Muldidarmawan added that the PIK area could also serve as an alternative destination for travelers returning to Jakarta after celebrating Eid in their hometowns. “For those traveling around Central Java and West Java, heading back to Banten or returning to Jakarta, this area could be a great option for activities during their trip. Not only for those who stay in Jakarta during Eid but also for travelers returning to the city. PIK is a beautiful and attractive destination worth visiting,” said Harwan Muldidarmawan.
With strong synergy between the government and various stakeholders, it is hoped that the 2025 Eid homecoming season will be safe, smooth, and comfortable for all.
