Monday, 4 March 2024, the Grand Launching of Residential Transport with the route of PIK2 to Sedayu City Kelapa Gading was held at By The Sea Pantai Maju Golf Island.
This Grand Launching event was held to accelerate the completion of the Transjabodetabek Management Agency's Quick Win.

Present at this event was Marta Hadisarwono, as Secretary of the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) along with his staff, Adi Faisal as Representative of the Head of the Transportation District Office of Tangerang and his board, Restu Mahesa as Estate Management Director of PIK2, as well as Transportation Observer Dr. Yayat Supriyatna and representatives from PT Higer Maju Indonesia.

Marta Hadisarwono explained that the number of people moving in Jabodetabek currently shows data of 75 million people/day. It is hoped that the modal share of public transport usage will be achieved at 46%. With the hope of reducing the level of congestion and the availability of two- and four-wheeled private vehicled, one of which is the Jabodetabek Residence Connexion road transport service which moves from residential areas.

"We need to convey that the Jabodetabek JR Connexion bus on the PIK2-Sedayu City Kelapa Gading route is the first JRC bus to use electric power. By using electricity, it will reduce air pollution. This is a progress and added value for the services provided to the community as well as having a positive impact on the environment," explained Marta Hadisarwono.

"Hopefully this service will become a facility for all people not only in Jakarta, but for all Jabodetabek people to be able to achieve the goals at PIK2 and in Sedayu City," said Restu Mahesa.
With this event, it is hoped that public transportation can develop even more and create public transportation services that are safe and comfortable.
