PIK2 ESTABLISHES EMERGENCY COMMUNITY KITCHEN FOR TANGERANG REGENCY RESIDENTS IN COLLABORATION WITH AL-IKHLAS MOSQUE PIK
Amid the flooding that has affected several areas of Jakarta and Tangerang Regency, Al-Ikhlas Mosque PIK, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, established an Emergency Community Kitchen in the Teluknaga District and surrounding areas on January 23, 2026.
The community kitchen serves as a tangible expression of humanitarian care by providing ready-to-eat meals for residents impacted by the floods. Previously, PIK2 CSR had also operated community kitchens for communities in Teluknaga, Kosambi, and Pakuhaji starting on January 12, 2026. Distribution was carried out swiftly and in a coordinated manner to ensure that the basic needs of affected communities were met during the emergency period.
This initiative is designed as part of an ongoing disaster preparedness and mitigation effort. “We hope that this emergency community kitchen assistance can help ease the burden of communities affected by this disaster,” said Eka Agus, Chairman of the DKM of Al-Ikhlas Mosque PIK.
Through this program, Agung Sedayu Group’s CSR reaffirms its commitment to the pillars of health, humanitarian aid, and disaster mitigation, in line with the vision of sustainable development in Tangerang Regency, which places the safety and well-being of the community as a top priority.
