Wednesday, December 10, 2025, PIK2 WINS GOLD GENTING AWARD FOR DEDICATION TO PREVENTING STUNTING IN TANGERANG REGENCY

PIK2 reaffirmed its commitment to social development after receiving the Gold category “Genting Award” at the Genting Collaboration Summit 2025 in Jakarta. The award, presented by the BKKBN of Banten Province, recognizes PIK2’s active contribution to the national Foster Parents Movement for Stunting Prevention (GENTING) program.

Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M., Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration. “Today, PIK2 received the ‘Genting Collaboration’ award from the Ministry of Population and Family Development. Since 2021, PIK2 has supported at least 10 villages in addressing and resolving stunting issues in Tangerang Regency,” he said.
Through various CSR initiatives, ranging from nutrition assistance and family health education to the provision of supplementary food, PIK2 has been recognized for consistently delivering impactful interventions in priority areas such as Teluknaga, Pakuhaji, Kemiri, Mauk, and Kronjo.
Minister of Population and Family Development, Dr. H. Wihaji, S.Ag., M.Pd., also expressed his appreciation to all contributors. “I extend my highest appreciation to several representatives of the 301.000 foster parents, 140 of whom come from media, private corporations, state-owned enterprises, individuals, and various pentahelix stakeholders who serve as foster parents supporting KRS (Stunting Risk Families),” he said.

This award underscores the critical role of the private sector in accelerating stunting reduction efforts, while strengthening PIK2’s commitment to expanding nutrition education, capacity-building programs, and sustainability initiatives in support of the national target to reduce stunting prevalence to 14%.
