PT Kukuh Mandiri Lestari (PIK2), through its CSR program, participated in the commemoration of Indonesia Tree Planting Day (HMPI) and the National Planting Month for Banten Province 2025 by donating 1,000 tree seedlings to Brigif Yonif 841 and 18 Forest Farmers Groups in Waringinkurung District on December 11, 2025.

Banten Governor Andra Soni emphasized the importance of collective involvement in protecting the environment. “On behalf of the Provincial Government of Banten, I extend my gratitude and appreciation to all parties who have collaborated in this movement to plant and care for trees,” he stated.
The seedlings donated by PIK2 were distributed to Brigif Yonif 841 and the 18 Forest Farmers Groups in Waringinkurung District to be planted and maintained sustainably. In addition, PIK2 continues to carry out its independent greening program through the planting of productive and protective trees in buffer zones around the PIK2 area.

The event also included the declaration of “Banten Lestari Collaboration”, reaffirming the shared commitment of the government, private sector, and community to preserve the environment together. Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M., also highlighted the importance of consistent tree maintenance. “This is our hope going forward; these trees will become meaningful greenery if we continue to support environmental preservation,” he said.
The activity concluded with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony by the Governor of Banten and various stakeholders, followed by a mass planting session. PIK2’s CSR team also provided brief education on tree care to ensure that the greening initiative continues beyond the ceremonial event.
