AGUNG SEDAYU GROUP DISTRIBUTES FINAL CSR FUNDING OF IDR 21.4 BILLION
As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare and sustainable development, Agung Sedayu Group, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, has distributed the final phase of funding totaling IDR 21.4 billion to 214 Village and Urban Merah Putih Cooperatives (KDKMP) across Tangerang Regency. This follows the initial phase, which provided IDR 6 billion to 60 Village Cooperatives. The symbolic handover took place during an event led by the Regent of Tangerang, Mochamad Maesyal Rasyid, at the Yasmin Hotel, Curug District, Tangerang Regency.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Hj. Farida Farichah, M.Si.; Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence, Prof. Dr. Reda Manthovani, S.H., LL.M.; Governor of Banten, Andra Soni; Head of the Cooperatives and MSME Department of Banten Province, Agus Mintono; as well as Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M., along with the company’s executive team and other key stakeholders.
This CSR initiative reaffirms Agung Sedayu Group’s commitment to supporting the Merah Putih Cooperative Program in Tangerang Regency, strengthening the local economy by empowering cooperatives as pillars of community-based economic resilience. “Today, on December 6, 2025, we have distributed CSR funds to the Merah Putih Cooperatives in Tangerang Regency as part of Agung Sedayu Group’s commitment to improving the people's economy through cooperative empowerment. A total of 274 cooperatives in Tangerang Regency each received IDR 100 million, which will support their operational and development activities,” said Restu Mahesa during the event. The total CSR funds distributed by PIK2 has amounted to IDR 27.4 billion.
Banten Governor Andra Soni also expressed his appreciation toward industry players who have implemented CSR programs supporting village governments in developing Merah Putih Village Cooperatives, noting that such collaborations are expected to strengthen the industrial sector’s contribution to Banten Province’s economic development.
With the distribution of this final CSR funding, it is expected that village and urban cooperatives will continue to evolve into resilient, transparent, and professionally managed institutions capable of driving community empowerment and delivering long-term positive impacts for local welfare.
