ASG PIK2 MOBILIZES MASS REPAINTING ACROSS 39 SCHOOLS IN TANGERANG REGENCY THROUGH ITS CSR PROGRAM
In the northern coastal area of Tangerang Regency, hundreds of students will soon learn in brighter and warmer surroundings through the CSR program “Bright Schools, Smart Tangerang”, initiated by Agung Sedayu Group through PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua, Tbk (PIK2). The mass school repainting program, carried out on 19 November 2025, was officially launched by Head of the Tangerang Regency Education Office, H. Dadan Gandana, Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, and Teluknaga Subdistrict Head, Kurnia, S.STP, M.Si.
H. Dadan Gandana emphasized the importance of this collaboration in improving the quality of education in coastal areas. “This CSR program from Agung Sedayu is extremely comprehensive. Hopefully the impact can be directly felt and seen by the community,” he said.
Through the repainting of classrooms, corridors, school fences, and other supporting areas, the program aims to create learning environments that are tidier, cleaner, and filled with a sense of optimism. These bright colors serve as a symbol of encouragement, helping children learn with greater enthusiasm and confidence.
The program is being implemented in stages across elementary and secondary schools in Teluknaga, Kosambi, Pakuhaji, and Mauk. Teluknaga Subdistrict Head Kurnia expressed appreciation to PIK2 for the collaboration that brings real benefits to education in the area.
The initiative also involves the participation of PIK2 management and employees, government officials, teachers, and school committees. “A total of 39 elementary schools are being repainted and will be designated as Bright and Smart Public Elementary Schools for Tangerang Regency,” said Restu Mahesa.
As part of PIK2’s commitment to sustainable development goals, this program strengthens access to quality education while creating learning environments that are safer, more decent, and more comfortable for students.
Within the now-brighter school walls lies a powerful message: education is a shared responsibility. As long as these collective efforts continue, the future of children in the northern coastal region will grow ever closer to the light of hope.
