ASG–PIK2 SUPPORTS SCHOOL REVITALIZATION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN NORTH TANGERANG COASTAL AREA
Education is the bridge to a better future. With this spirit, Agung Sedayu Group – PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua, Tbk (ASG–PIK2) continues to demonstrate its commitment through CSR programs in the field of education.
The Regent of Tangerang, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, inaugurated the revitalization of SDN Kedung Dalam I & II in Mauk District, launched the Bang Pendi (Rise through Education) Program, and launched a trial run of the Free School Bus Service in Sindang Jaya District. "Today we are all happy. Two months ago, this school collapsed due to a tornado, and I immediately contacted PIK2. Alhamdulillah, they immediately began working the next day," said the Regent gratefully.
Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M., Estate Management Director of PIK2, also said, “Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah SWT, we can now see SD Kedung Dalam I and II standing tall again and ready for use.”
In addition to school revitalization, ASG–PIK2 also launched the Bang Pendi Program for the community who wish to complete their junior high and high school education, as well as expanding the Free School Bus service in Teluknaga and Pakuhaji. This program opens new opportunities for the coastal youth generation so that they are not hindered by distance or educational status.
One of the participants in the Study Package C program, Muhammad Jaelani from Kemiri District, said, “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful that I can continue my education. Hopefully, with this diploma, I will be able to get a better job. Thank you to the Tangerang Regional Government and Agung Sedayu Group for the Bang Pendi program.”
Through this concrete initiative, ASG–PIK2 demonstrates that true development is not just about building cities, but also about building people — creating a smarter, more independent, and more competitive generation in the northern coastal area of Tangerang Regency.
