MOVING TOGETHER FOR HEALTH CSR PIK2, TZU CHI HOSPITAL, AND KNPI SEPATAN ENCOURAGE THE COMMUNITY TO BE AWARE OF STROKE EARLY
Health is a blessing that is often forgotten, until we realize how precious it is when illness strikes without warning. Realizing the importance of maintaining health from an early age, PIK2 CSR together with Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Cengkareng Hospital and the Sepatan District KNPI (Youth Committee), once again held the “Sehat On The Road” (Healthy On The Road) program, this time with the theme “Recognize the Signs and Symptoms of Stroke Early.”
The event took place at the Sepatan District Office Hall, Tangerang Regency, on Monday, October 27, 2025, as part of PIK2’s commitment to providing real benefits to the community through sustainable social programs in the health sector.
In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and care, Sepatan residents gathered to learn and get their health checked. Dr. Michael Carrey, Sp.N, a neurologist from Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Cengkareng Hospital, gave an in-depth education session about the dangers of stroke and the importance of recognizing its early symptoms. “This is a very positive program, Sehat On The Road has now reached its 6th episode, and many people have already benefited from this CSR initiative. Hopefully, this program will continue because it’s very useful for the community,” said Dr. Michael Carrey.
Beyond receiving education, participants also enjoyed free health checkups, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and uric acid tests. A direct consultation session with medical professionals provided a valuable opportunity for residents to better understand their health conditions.
Sepatan District Head, Aan Anshori, also expressed his appreciation for the concern shown by PIK2 and Agung Sedayu Group. “We feel grateful and thankful for PIK2’s attention to the people of Sepatan, and we’re honored to be part of this social agenda,” said Aan. Initiatives like this show that compassion doesn’t have to be grand, as long as it’s done sincerely and consistently.
Through a harmonious collaboration between businesses, healthcare professionals, and youth communities, Sehat On The Road is not just a social event, but a small movement that brings about significant change, raising awareness, promoting healthy habits, and nurturing hope, so that every step we take remains strong and meaningful.
Let’s take care of ourselves, recognize the signs, and together build a healthier, more aware, and more caring society.
