PIK2 TRAINED MAUK RESIDENTS TO RESPONSE DISASTER
CSR PIK2 together with BPBD and KKM STISNU college students who are currently subserve in Ketapang Village, Tanjung Anom Village, and Tegal Kunir Lor Village, held an Earthquake and Fire Disaster Response Training in the MAUK Subdistrict Hall on August 26, 2025.
This activity aims to increase the resident’s preparedness through theory, practice, up to simulations on the use of fire extinguishers (APAR). PIK2 CSR also donated platoon tents to support post-disaster mitigation efforts in MAUK Subdistrict.
“Alhamdulillah, with the implementation of this activity in collaboration with PIK2, BPBD, STISNU KKM college students, and all parties, we hope that all participants who came here today can understand the steps regarding prevention, handling, and efforts to minimize the risk of disasters that occur around us," said M. Iqbal Bellamy as Head of the General and Personnel Subdivision of MAUK District, Tangerang Regency.
The training material was delivered by disaster management experts from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), ensuring participants received direct guidance from professionals with extensive experience in disaster response.
The community seemed enthusiastic about participating in the training. One participant, Muhammad Abduh, considered this activity very useful because it provided practical knowledge on preventing fires and dealing with earthquakes.
This training is expected to develop a culture of disaster preparedness in MAUK District and its surrounding areas.
