In celebration of Indonesia's 80th Independence Day, Kak Rara's Literacy Corner presents a special edition filled with laughter and joy. For almost a whole week, from August 12 to 18, 2025, Kak Rara visited five villages in the districts of Sepatan, Pakuhaji, Sepatan Timur, Kosambi, and Teluknaga to encourage children participating in fun competitions such as Spons Go!, Biskuit Challenge, Sedotan Ajaib, and Balon Estafet.

For the children, these competitions are more than just games. They learn the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, and the courage to try new things. As Umi Iyut, a teacher from Sepatan Timur Village, explained, “The children were so excited, even days in advance. Hopefully, this will boost their learning spirit and teamwork.” All the games they play carry a powerful message that courage, teamwork, and joy are the keys to success, both in competitions and in life.

From those innocent faces, we learn the true meaning of courage to try, perseverance in the face of failure, and the spirit to rise again. Kak Rara’s Literacy Corner is proof that every child has the right to laugh, learn, and dream big.
Through this activity, Agung Sedayu Group PIK2 hopes that the Literacy Corner will always be a space where children can grow with laughter, knowledge, and big dreams. For true independence is when every Indonesian child is free to grow with enthusiasm, hope, and a love of learning.
