LA VELA LITTLE EUROPE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED, PRESENTING CLASSIC EUROPEAN NUANCES TO WEST JAKARTA
Jakarta finally has a new thematic tourist destination! La Vela Little Europe officially launched on July 24, 2025, in the Green Lake City area, located on the border of West Jakarta and Tangerang, spreading over 4 hectares of land. La Vela presents a shopping and entertainment experience with a touch of charming classic European architecture.
"Our goal in building La Vela is to provide facilities so that the community in Green Lake City has a destination to hang out, socialize, and spend quality time with friends, family and colleagues. We want to create a different, more modern lifestyle," said Lina Huwan, Commercial Retail 2 Division Head of Arkana Agung Sedayu Group.
Visitors can enjoy the charming promenade, iconic fountain, and a variety of culinary delights from selected tenants such as Grand Lucky Supermarket, December Coffee, Song Fa, Lao Lao Huo Guo, and Sensatia. Grand Lucky itself serves as an anchor tenant and is the largest store in Jakarta. As explained by Miranda DWK, Advertising & Promotion Director of Agung Sedayu Group, this area is designed as a thematic shopping and entertainment center featuring classic architectural style. "The distinctive European atmosphere is further enhanced by the presence of the Plaza Fountain, which is the area's main attraction. In phase 1, La Vela has been filled with major tenants, one of which is Grand Lucky Supermarket, which serves the needs of approximately 38,000 residents of Green Lake City and the surrounding West Jakarta area. Its captive market reaches approximately 1.5 million people," she added.
More than just a shopping destination, La Vela is also designed as a community hub with a one-stop shopping and entertainment concept. In the future, this area will be equipped with an alfresco dining area by the canal, a fitness center, and other commercial spaces to support an urban lifestyle.
With a blend of European atmosphere and local flavors, La Vela Little Europe is poised to become a new magnet for residents and tourists.
