PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua, Tbk, (PIK2)'s commitment in providing fun education was once again realized through a CSR program entitled “Fun Cooking with Kak Rara”. Held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, this activity collaborated with children from the Literacy Corner of SPS Dadap Indah, Kosambi District, to create a joyful learning experience.

Located in the McD Center Point PIK2 kitchen, the children were invited to explore the cooking world in a fun and interactive way. Under the guidance of Kak Rara, they learned to recognize various food ingredients, understand the stages of making a burger, and tried to directly arrange and mix their own burgers.

More than just cooking, this activity became an educational play space. Children not only develop fine motoric skills, but also learn about responsibility, cooperation, and the courage to try new things. With a warm and communicative approach, Kak Rara manages to create a lively and fun classroom atmosphere, making each child feel valued and actively involved.

"This CSR program is very beneficial especially for pre-school education institutions, we can be with the children and the children seem to be very happy. Hopefully in the future, CSR can be broader to produce programs that are beneficial, especially for educational institutions," said Siti Ulfah as Principal of SPS Dadap Indah.

Cooking class is also a way to grow positive character from an early age. Activities like this are important in building confidence and instilling life values naturally through direct experience. The wide smiles and enthusiasm of the children were clear evidence that learning can be done in a fun and energetic way. Some children like Arya, Ijan, Ataya, and Brian expressed their excitement after trying to make their own burgers. Even when asked what else they wanted to try cooking, they enthusiastically answered that they wanted to try making french fries and ice cream.

Through this activity, PIK2 hopes to continue to support the growth and development of Indonesian children as a whole, not only from the academic side, but also from the aspect of life skills and character building. “Fun Cooking with Kak Rara” is a small but meaningful step in presenting an inspirational and fun learning world for future generations.
