PIK2 SUPPORTS FISH FARMING IN KAMPUNG BESAR VILLAGE STRENGTHENS FOOD SECURITY AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

As a part of commitment to sustainable development and social care, PIK2 once again presents in the community with its CSR program that has a direct impact. On Monday, July 7, 2025, PIK2 distributed freshwater fish farming assistance to the people of Kampung Besar Village, Teluknaga District, Tangerang Regency, in an activity entitled “Tilapia and Catfish Seed Stocking.”


This program aims to strengthen food security while encouraging local community empowerment. Through collaboration with five local Community Empowerment Groups (KPM), PIK2 distributed assistance in the form of 25 units of tarpaulin ponds, ± 20,000 catfish seeds, ± 10,500 tilapia seeds, feed, and other fish farming equipment.


Head of KPM Al Munawaroh Berkah, Aming Hairudin, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the attention given. "We as KPM Al Munawaroh Berkah would like to thank you very much for the assistance. Hopefully what is given by Agung Sedayu Group, especially PIK2, can provide benefits to raise the economic level of the people, and this program can be sustainable and become an example for other villages," he said in his speech.


This assistance not only strengthens the potential of local fisheries, but also opens up new economic opportunities for the local community. It is hoped that the beneficiaries will be able to manage this fish farming business in a sustainable way, produce optimal production, and improve the welfare of their families.


Through initiatives like this, PIK2 continues to demonstrate its commitment in supporting the socio-economic development of the community, in line with the vision of creating an empowered, independent, and prosperous neighborhood.
