At Bukit Golf Mediterania, specifically behind the Fresh Market, an Online Motorcycle Taxi (Ojol) Shelter was officially inaugurated on Thursday, June 26, 2025. This facility is the result of a collaboration between Estate Management BGM PIK as the area manager and PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk.

The presence of this shelter was originally initiated by Eka Agus, Head of the Estate Management BGM PIK Department. “If you knew, next to the Emerald shophouses there used to be an informal motorcycle taxi (ojek) base. I was concerned when I saw the condition, so I started communicating with members of the community to see how we could better organize it. I asked them to hold off for a while, as we would build a proper shelter. Now, we have built this shelter to make it more comfortable for the online motorcycle taxi drivers,” he said in his remarks.

Darmawan, the Sub-District Head of Penjaringan, who has attended three online motorcycle taxi shelter inaugurations, expressed his happiness, stating that the shelter at BGM PIK is the best among them. The same sentiment was echoed by the Head of Public Policy and Government of PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk., Teuku Mufizar Mahmud, who said, “Sir, this is the highest standard. We’re not even sure if we have any other partners who can provide facilities as good and well-organized as this. This deserves recognition, and I will report it to our CEO as well, in appreciation of this strong collaboration.” he said.
On the other hand, Director of Estate Management at Agung Sedayu Group, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M., also explained that this shelter is spacious, equipped with a resting area, a dining area, and an organized parking space for the drivers’ vehicles. “We hope this facility serves both the community and online ojek drivers so they can work more comfortably and peacefully while carrying out their duties,” he added.

Marto, one of the online ojek drivers, expressed his happiness with the presence of the shelter. According to him, the facilities here are more comfortable compared to the places they usually gather at, as it is more shaded and protects them from the rain. Jubaidah also shared her thoughts, “The presence of this shelter really helps us online drivers. Hopefully, more shelters like this will be built in other areas. It's extremely helpful because it provides charging stations, Wi-Fi, toilets, and a prayer room. Very comfortable,” she said.
This facility will serve as a safe, orderly, and comfortable pick-up point for online ojek drivers while they wait for orders, while also supporting smooth traffic flow and orderliness in the area.

Arga Syauqi, Regional User Growth Manager for Jabodetabek at PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk., hopes that with this online ojek shelter facility, the overall user journey for Gojek service users can be further improved, and that this collaboration will continue to grow and expand to provide similar facilities at other key locations.
This collaboration is expected to create a real impact on the comfort and order of the area.
