AGUNG SEDAYU GROUP SUPPORTS THE 2025 PRESIDENT’S CUP SPORTIVE SPIRIT, REAL COMMITMENT TO INDONESIAN SPORTS

The prestigious President's Cup 2025 pre-season tournament began on July 6 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, with the inaugural match between Oxford United (England) and Liga Indonesia All Stars. It is more than just a soccer event; this tournament symbolizes the progress of professional, transparent, and independent national sports management from state funds.

With a total sponsorship funding of IDR 65 billion, all from the private sector, the 2025 President's Cup has set a new record. Equipped with sponsorship funds, the total prize pool for this year's tournament has increased to IDR 11.5 billion. The main winner will receive IDR 5.5 billion, followed by the runner-up with IDR 3 billion, third place with IDR 2 billion, fourth place with IDR 1 billion, fifth place with IDR 200 million, and sixth place with IDR 100 million.

The ongoing support from the private sector, such as Agung Sedayu Group (ASG) — one of the main sponsors contributing Rp10 billion to the tournament — has been a key driver of the event’s success.
Agung Sedayu Group has consistently supported sports, including soccer, by promoting a positive spirit both behind the scenes and among the audience. For example, in the days leading up to the event, the group held ticket giveaways for matches in Jakarta and Bandung through its social media platforms.

Also, Agung Sedayu Group brought excitement to the stadium area with an interactive booth that quickly became a crowd favorite. From juggling competitions, dart games, group dancing, to Putt-Putt mini golf, the booth offered a range of fun activities. It also handed out free popcorn and exciting giveaways such as pat balloons, tumblers, fans, golf caps, and exclusive vouchers. Dominated by vibrant red and featuring an open-concept design, the PIK2 booth stood out as a major attraction amid the lively stadium atmosphere.
"It's very exciting at the PIK2 booth. I can try various games. I also tried the juggling challenge and then succeeded and got a prize," said Andi, one of the soccer fans from Bekasi who came with his friends to watch the match.
The presence of thousands of spectators and the extraordinary enthusiasm, including from the children of the Soccer School (SSB), shows how the collaboration of the business world and sports can create a real impact, not only for the achievements of athletes, but also the ecosystem of entertainment, tourism, and urban lifestyles.

Through its participation in this event, Agung Sedayu Group reaffirms its commitment to supporting sports as part of community development and the spirit of cross-sector collaboration for a healthier, more active and competitive future of Indonesia.
