An atmosphere full of enthusiasm and laughter echoed in Kampung Adidaya, Tanjung Pasir Village, when hundreds of people gathered to participate in the Fishing Mania Mantab Competition, an initiative CSR from PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua, Tbk. With the theme “Strike Together, Unite Forever”, the event held on June 22, 2025 was not just a competition, but also a place to entertain, boost the local economy, and strengthen social relations. 
More than 300 participants from various backgrounds, ranging from expert anglers, housewives, to young people, participated in this event that took place in a lively tourist village. Not only those who brought hooks and buckets, many people came as audience to cheer up the participants, savor the togetherness, and create moments of happiness together. 

In between the competitions for the heaviest fish and special fish categories, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. Ratna, a resident of Kebon Kopi, Pangkalan Village, even tried her luck in the competition even though it was her first time holding a fishing rod. "I'm happy to participate in this activity because I can also learn to catch fish. It's really fun!" she said with a happy smile. 
More than just a competition, this fishing competition is a real stimulus for the local economy. Vendors of food, drinks, and fishing equipment also benefited. Their stalls were crowded with visitors, creating a heartwarming local economy. 

Aceng Jaya Atmaja, a resident of Kampung Melayu Timur Village, admitted that he was happy to participate in the event that brought together people from various villages. "At least we can entertain the local community, alhamdulillah. I'm really happy to catch just one fish," he said with a laugh. 
The Fishing Mania Mantab competition proved that simple activities such as fishing can be a bridge to strengthen ties, open economic opportunities, and provide refreshing entertainment for the community. This day, Kampung Adidaya witnessed how the power of togetherness can create a day full of laughter, hope, and harmony. 
With the success of this event, it is hoped that in the future there will be more similar activities that not only provide direct benefits to the people, but also strengthen the mutual cooperative spirit in building an empowered and happy tourism village.
