PIK2 & CINTA KASIH TZU CHI HOSPITAL PRESENT HEALTH EDUCATION IN TELUKNAGA

Being healthy is not only about a fit body, but also about being able to deal with emergencies and maintaining quality of life as we age. In this spirit, PIK2 together with Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Cengkareng Hospital again held a CSR activity entitled “Healthy On The Road” at the Teluknaga District Hall, Tangerang Regency on June 18, 2025.

This event was packed in an interactive and educational way to build awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and basic medical skills that can save lives. This activity consisted of two main sessions: health talk show and Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

The talk show was presented by Dr. Audi Sugiharto, Sp.DVE, Specialist Doctor of Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics at Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Cengkareng Hospital who provided insights on skin care, the importance of nutrition, and an active lifestyle to naturally slow down the aging process. Not only theory, participants were also invited to see a simple skin care demo that can be done at home, get a free consultation, and the opportunity to win attractive door prizes.

The enthusiasm of the participants was high. As expressed by Siti Muhaya, a resident of Bojong Renged Village, "Thank you to PIK2 for collaborating with Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital, Alhamdulillah. It is very useful for those of us who are already 40 years old and above. Alhamdulillah, with this talk show, we participants are able to know the benefits of maintaining health in order to stay young and hopefully we can implement it to take care of both physical and spiritual health and always stay happy."

Darwati and Trisna, residents of Kampung Melayu Timur, also felt happy and grateful to participate in this activity, "We came to participate in the seminar on Preventing Early Aging, Secret Tips to Stay Young with Dr. Audi. We hope this activity is often held here, because we live in an area where activities like this are rarely available. We hope that in the future PIK2 can invite the community on how to live a healthy life and the information can be expanded about this knowledge, not just for us who are here," they said. This kind of education is very important, especially for people who live in areas that rarely have access to similar training.

After the talk show session, the ambience turned more intensive with basic skills training to deal with emergency medical conditions. The material was delivered by Dr. Adrianus Kanaris, Sp.EM, Mars, Specialist Doctor of Emergency Medicine Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Cengkareng Hospital, who explained the important steps in providing first aid in cases such as sudden cardiac arrest, choking, and loss of consciousness.

Participants also practiced directly, making this activity not only theoretical, but also practical and applicable. This activity is a true form of social care that not only touches the physical aspects of the community, but also builds a healthy mindset and emergency response.

PIK2 and Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital hope that this activity can be the beginning of a broader and more sustainable movement. Not only providing knowledge, but also encouraging everyone to become the initiator of change in creating a healthier, more caring and prepared environment.
