Jakarta, June 10, 2025 - With the spirit of solidarity and generosity, Agung Sedayu Group through PIK in collaboration with the Buddha Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation, PT Mandara Permai, and the Indonesian National Armed Forces distributed aid to fire victims in Kapuk Muara, North Jakarta. 

A total of ±485 houses were burned down and ±3,200 residents were affected by the fire which burned an area of ±4.5 hectares. As a quick response, 800 rice packages from PIK and 800 humanitarian aid packages from Buddha Tzu Chi Indonesia were distributed. 

This activity was attended by North Jakarta Mayor Hendra Hidayat, Pgs. Dandim 0502/JU Colonel Inf. Agung Budhi Purnomo, and Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M who expressed his hope that this assistance could ease the burden on the victims and encourage them to rise again. 

"We especially express our gratitude and highest appreciation for the care given to our residents. Especially those provided by the Buddha Tzu Chi Foundation and Agung Sedayu Group. Obviously this assistance will greatly alleviate and help our residents who are affected by the disaster. We pray together that they can get through this, our brothers and sisters with extraordinary fortitude and patience," said Hendra Hidayat. 

One of the affected residents named Mulyadi, expressed his gratitude, "My belongings are all gone. Thanks to the Buddha Tzu Chi Foundation and Agung Sedayu Group for lightening our burden," he said. 

This support is expected to be a starting point for recovery and new hope for the victims.
