NEW ROUTE OF TRANSJABODETABEK PIK2–BLOK M OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED SUPPORTING EASY ACCESS AND MOBILITY FOR CITIZENS
The new route of Transjakarta PIK2–Blok M was officially launched on Thursday, 22 May 2025 at PIK2 Bus Shelter (Shibuya). It operates every day from 05.00-22.00 WIB, with fares of Rp 2,000 (05.00-07.00 WIB) and Rp 3,500 (07.00-22.00 WIB).
The official flag off was conducted by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo, Banten Deputy Governor Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah, Head of DKI Jakarta's Provincial Transportation Agency Syafrin Liputo, and PIK2 CEO Richard Halim Kusuma. This route known as T31, connects the PIK2 area with Blok M via Inner Ring Road and Sudirman Road, with a total of 24 stops in Banten and Jakarta.
“I believe that this will be a new thing so that people from anywhere can see one of the futures of this nation. A well-organized area that we can see together here,” said Pramono.
This initiative is a collaborative result of the government and private sector to provide public transportation that is comfortable, affordable, and environmentally friendly. As expressed by Christy Gissela as Corporate Secretary & Investor Relations of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk, “Today is the first official launch of the route which is the best milestone. Small things including transportation are also considered by the government for Jabodetabek residents and also especially for PIK2. This is very good especially for people who want to visit from Blok M, or South Jakarta to visit North Jakarta to PIK2. So this is a mode of transportation that is very affordable, environmentally friendly because it does not use private-collective vehicles, we see this as something we should be grateful for. In the future we will continue to provide residents, visitors and also those who work to PIK2 with public transportation modes, especially, which are affordable and efficient. We will continue to explore. Today we see Transjabodetabek PIK2 starting to operate, in a few months we hope to launch the Kataraja Gate 1 Toll Road, which is also one of the important accesses for an independent city.”
The flag off of this route also marks a strategic synergy between the Provincial Governments of DKI Jakarta and Banten in supporting cross-regional connectivity, as well as emphasizing the role of PIK2 as a leading residential, commercial and tourist destination that is friendly to public transportation.
