HI-DRONE 3 IS BACK AT MIAMI BEACH PIK2 WITH NEW COLORS
HOGERS Indonesia community held another national-scale event
HOGERS Indonesia Drag Race of National Event 3 (HI-DRONE 3) which was held on 16-17 May 2025 at Miami Beach, Pantai Indah Kapuk 2.
HI-DRONE 3 is an annual event organized by the Hogers Indonesia community, held in the PIK2 area. This event serves as a platform to foster camaraderie and solidarity among automotive enthusiasts, particularly Harley-Davidson riders. It also provides an outlet for participants to pursue their passion and showcase their skills—whether by testing engine power on a straight drag strip or demonstrating control and precision in the Harley-Davidson rodeo challenge. Through these activities, HI-DRONE 3 aims to elevate Indonesia’s automotive culture to the global stage.
The concept of this year's HI-DRONE 3 activity is to test agility and skills in using Harley motorbikes. HI-DRONE 3 also gives a positive impact on the economy, especially for local businesses and MSMEs, such as repair shops and Harley motorcycle carriage (towing) service companies.
It is known that the HI-DRONE 3 event was attended by more than 800 starters, and this number increased to ± 1,200 starters during the race.
This year’s HI-DRONE 3 introduces exciting new elements that set it apart from previous editions, notably through the addition of three new race categories. As stated by Ristiawan Suherman, Vice Director of HOGERS Indonesia and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, “HI-DRONE 3 brings a fresh twist with new race categories, including the Drag Race Fastlady, which specifically targets female racers.” Another new addition is the Battle Race, designed to test both adrenaline and teamwork. In this category, teams of three riders compete in a relay-style race, with no breaks, where the total time of all three riders is combined to determine the winner. And the final new category, FAST (Free All Self Throttle), is a class similar to the traditional FFA (Free For All) in drag racing, offering an open competition format for the boldest racers.
Meanwhile, Yudi Djadja, Director of HOGERS Indonesia, emphasized that all participating racers were required to meet strict safety regulations, including possession of a valid Start Permit Card (KIS) issued by the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI), as well as the use of complete safety gear.
Ristiawan also highlighted that the success of HI-DRONE 3 would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of various major companies across different industries—most notably Agung Sedayu Group through PIK2.
