VESAK PUJA THUDONG 2025 PRAYER AND LOVING KINDNESS IN PIK
On Celebration of Vesak Day 2569 BE, 38 Thudong monks from Thailand made a spiritual journey of 2,800 km to Borobudur Temple. Before heading back to Thailand, the Thudong Vesak Puja 2025 was held on May 14th at Si Mian Fo Riverwalk Island, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK).
More than 3,000 Buddhists and Tridharma people participated attended in the 2025 Thudong Vesak Puja : Prayer, Blessings, and Sharing Loving-Kindness with the Thudong Monks . This was a sacred moment to hand over the pindapata and sanghadana collected from the Thudong event on April 19th to 46 monasteries and 19 orphanages in Java.
Miranda DWK from Agung Sedayu Group noted the enthusiastic reception of such religious events, evidenced by the large turnout. Sacred rituals like candle lighting, Paritta chanting, and blessings by the Thudong monks created a peaceful and meaningful atmosphere.

Soegiandi, Chairman of the Sanggar Sinar Suci Foundation, who has been involved in welcoming the Thudong monks from the beginning, stated that this moment was more than just a religious ceremony. According to him, the Thudong monks also carry a mission for humanity.
