HANDOVER OF CSR AGUNG SEDAYU GROUP GRANT PHASE 2
As a tangible effort to contribute to community welfare and sustainable development, Agung Sedayu Group, through its CSR program, has once again distributed grant funds in the second phase to beneficiaries in the Teluknaga Sub-District. The aid was handed over on April 24, 2025, at the Sedayu Indo City Marketing Gallery during a heartfelt and meaningful event.
The event was attended by the Head of Teluknaga Sub-District, representatives from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employment Social Security), the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Teluknaga, the Chairperson of the MI Darul Mu’minin Foundation, representatives of the Jami’ Al-Barkah Mosque Council, and administrators from the Darul Anshor Islamic Boarding School. The presence of these figures highlights the strong synergy between the business sector and the government in building a more inclusive, prosperous, and empowered society.
“Today, we are delivering the second wave of assistance programs. The first wave was distributed some time ago,” said Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M., Director of Estate Management at Agung Sedayu Group, in his hopeful remarks.
The 11 grant fund categories being distributed this time will support various social programs that directly address the needs of the community, including:
1. Home Renovation for Six Uninhabitable Fisherman Houses in Tanjung Pasir Village
2. Renovation of Four Nearly-Collapsing Houses in Pangkalan Village (Two Unites), Teluk Naga Village (One Unit), and East Melayu Village (One Unit)
3. Renovation of Free Fishermen’s School in Gaga and Tanjung Pasir Villages
4. Donation for the Construction of Jami’ Al-Barkah Mosque in Tanjung Pasir Village
5. Provision of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Insurance for 1,000 Fishermen
6. Mass Wedding for the Elderly and Religious Tourism Organizes by MUI Teluknaga Sub-District
7. Partnership for the Empowerment of Community Leaders and Institutional Strengthening with PWI Tangerang Regency
8. Donations to Darul Anshor Islamic Boarding School Under PCNU Tangerang Regency
9. Quran Recitation Competition Program (Tahfiz) at Assalam Islamic Boarding School
10. Community Empowerment Through a Community Center, Creating Spaces for Learning and Activities for Local Residents
11. Ramadan Charity Package Distribution (1446 H) and Support for Orphans at Assalam Educational Foundation
Through this program, Agung Sedayu Group demonstrates that the role of businesses is not only to build skyscrapers, but also to build hope, foster solidarity, and nurture a better life within society.
This grant is expected to be a small candle that lights the path of change–change that begins with care, continues with collaboration, and is realized through concrete action.
