PIK2 once again demonstrated its commitment through its housing renovation program by directly inspecting uninhabitable homes in the Teluknaga and Pakuhaji Sub-Districts, Tangerang Regency, on April 21, 2025. The inspections began on April 17, 2025, starting with 6 fishermen’s houses in Tanjung Pasir Village. This time, 4 houses were visited, including the homes of Utin in Teluknaga Village, Suganda in Kampung Melayu Timur Village, Nasih in Pangkalan Village, and Baijuri in Sukadamai Village. 

This program aims to provide more decent housing while spreading new hope among the local communities. One of the aid recipients, Maria, daughter of Nasih, expressed her gratitude emotionally, saying, “When it rains, our roof often leaks, and our bathroom is still outside – I don’t even have a proper toilet yet. I am so grateful because this is part of my prayers and hopes coming true.” 

This assistance not only improves the physical condition of the homes but also brings renewed spirit and comfort to the recipient families. PIK2 remains committed to bringing a present in the community and to fostering a more dignified life through tangible actions.
