SIGNING OF HOA PIK2 COOPERATION WITH PGN IN AN EFFORT TO CREATE MORE SAFE HOUSING IN THE PIK2 AREA

Signing ceremonial between PT. State Gas Company, Tbk (PGN) with PT. Karunia Indo Sejahtera (part of Agung Sedayu Group) was held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in order to use natural gas for household and commercial areas in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK ). This event began with the signing of Heads of Agreement (HOA) represented by Faris Aziz as Director of Sales and Operations of PGN, Restu Mahesa as Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, and  Yohanes Edmond Budiman as Salim Group Representative.

The distribution of natural gas in  PIK 2 area is one of PGN's targets to expand the development of the gas network (jargas) and reach the target of 4 million SRT. In order to implement this jargas, PGN cannot run alone, so PGN took the initiative to establish cooperation with developers, one of which is with PT. The Gift of Indo Sejahtera. "We from PGN are very grateful for the effort to create a new lifestyle, if it can be realized will become a prototype that becomes a role model for cooperation between BUMN in terms of gas and a developer as big as Agung Sedayu Group," said Faris Aziz. Agung Sedayu Group together with Salim Group strives for this gas solution to improve safety and reduce fire risk for residents of Pasir Putih Residences PIK2 which has an area around 150 ha. With various types of clusters available at Pasir Putih Residences, coupled with gas network distribution facilities for households in each cluster to support energy savings, making this Pasir Putih Residences as the best place to live with your beloved one.

The construction of a gas distribution network for households is one of the national priority programs aimed at energy diversification, subsidy reduction, provision of clean and cheap energy and complementary programs for the conversion of kerosene to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to accelerate the reduction of petroleum use. In the future, it is hoped that this collaboration will make the PIK2 area, Pantai Kita, and Pantai Maju into an increasingly sustainable and environmentally friendly property (Go Green).
