Bahlil Lahadalia as Minister of Investment / Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of the Republic of Indonesia visited PIK and PIK2 areas on December 9, 2021. This visit was to review the locations of projects that are in the process of development and construction as projections of future investment plans, as well as performance reports of some investments that have been made in the past year. For example, Pantjoran PIK, The Cove at Batavia, as well as several other locations. The locations visited in the PIK and PIK2 areas, in the future will have a very positive impact on the development of the surrounding economy, absorbing approximately 90% of local materials in development and opening business fields for MSMEs.

Starting from ASG Tower, the Minister of Investment / Head of BKPM accompanied by Chairman Agung Sedayu Group Mr. Sugianto Kusuma toured the PIK2 area. Some important locations were visited, first location plans of Marina that will connect PIK2 to the surrounding islands to revive local tourism. Then continued to Menara Syariah site which is in the construction phase of the tower structure. The third location visited was Indonesia Design District which was the largest furniture centre where one of the goals was to advance the export performance of Indonesian furniture imports. The next location was Tokyo Riverside Apartment where the group has the opportunity to review the best facilities prepared in Indonesia's middle-class apartments as a pilot for similar projects. Then also visit the Greenbelt area of ±60 ha which becomes the lungs of the area, which also provided sports and recreation facilities for visitors. The group also visited several other locations such as Rans Prestige Sportstainment, Mata Elang International Stadium, Sedayu Watertown as well as housing that has been built.

By touring this PIK2 area, the group could see firsthand the economic activity created thanks to the opening of a new recreation area. Hopefully this effort will bring Indonesia forward and bring more prosperous to Indonesian.
