Sugianto Kusuma, commonly known as Aguan, was honored with the Best CEO with Special Mention: The Most Outstanding Township Development award at the TOP CEO Indonesia Awards 2024. The event, organized by Tempo-IDNFinancials, took place at Pullman Bandung Grand Central, Bandung, West Java, on Friday, November 15th, 2024. The awards recognized 51 top-performing CEOs for their corporate achievements and implementations of sustainability programs during their tenure in 2022-2023, while fostering business collaboration that drives economic growth. 

This prestigious award was presented to Sugianto Kusuma by Tempo-IDNFinancials in recognition of his success in developing the PIK2 area through PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI), along with its supporting infrastructure. The PIK2 development represents a large-scale new township project offering modern housing solutions and promising business opportunities, particularly for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), which are considered the backbone of achieving Indonesia’s Golden Vision 2045. 

Beyond developing the area, PANI is also working on building supporting infrastructure, such as the Kamal-Teluknaga-Rajeg Toll Road, which began construction in 2023 and is targeted for completion in 2026. According to IDNFinancials, PANI aims to launch 8 new residential projects and 6 commercial projects by the end of this year to meet its pre sales targets. 

At this year’s event, Tempo-IDNFinancials gave special mentions to CEOs for their outstanding implementation of environmentally and socially impactful policies and programs. These qualitative assessments recognized leaders whose initiatives have had a positive influence on communities and the environment. As a newcomer to the Indeks52, curated by Tempo-IDNFinancials, this marks the first time both Sugianto Kusuma and PANI have been awarded at the Top CEO Indonesia Awards. This was the second title of the awards, following the inaugural event held in Bali in December 2023.
