PIK2 remains committed to enhancing human resource potential in Tangerang Regency through the Science Olympiad. This event, organized by PIK2 in collaboration with the Kosambi Sub-District Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) and Sheikh Yusuf Islamic University (UNIS), serves as a competition platform for high school students. 

Held at Sheikh Yusuf Islamic University on December 18th, 2024, the Olympiad was attended by Prof. Dr. Mustofa Kamil, Dipl, RSL, M.Pd, Rector of UNIS; Dr. H. Tabrani, M. Pd, Head of the Banten Province Education Office; and Dr. Ir. H. Restu Mahesa, M.M, Director of Estate Management, along with Bambang Santosadjaja, GM of Estate Management at Agung Sedayu Group. The event targeted 11th and 12th-grade high school students from across Tangerang Regency, aiming to uncover the potential of outstanding students in the field of science. The questions ranged in difficulty from easy to challenging. 

“Winning or losing is not the main point. The experience and involvement in this Science Olympiad will be invaluable for all of you in the future. This annual event, which has been held before, is crucial based on our evaluations. Education is one of the key aspects of sustainable development, as it directly impacts welfare. Awareness of education also triggers positive effects on other areas, such as health and economic improvement. This is our goal: to foster development with both medium- and long-term approaches. Hopefully, what we are doing today will be a source of blessing for all of us. To the students, keep your spirits high,” stated Restu Mahesa in his remarks. 

This Olympiad is expected to inspire and motivate students in Tangerang Regency to remain passionate in pursuing their dreams.
