The initiative to establish Hermina Hospital Jakarta began as a collaboration between doctors in Jakarta who invited Hermina to jointly build and manage a hospital for the community in the PIK2 area. The construction of this hospital, spanning approximately 7,500 m², began with a groundbreaking ceremony in December 2023. 

Now, one year after the groundbreaking, on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, Hermina Group officially welcomed its 52nd member hospital, Hermina Hospital PIK2, to serve the PIK2 community. This milestone was celebrated through the Grand Opening Ceremony held at Jalan Raya Boulevard Osaka, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. 

The opening ceremony of Hermina Hospital PIK2 was marked by the sounding of a siren by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, accompanied by dr. Hasmoro, the President Director of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk. It was further commemorated with the signing of a plaque, symbolizing the hospital’s mission to deliver fast, accurate, and patient safety-centered services, supported by a digitalized system through Electronic Medical Records (EMR),. 

“When it comes to maintaining EBITDA, I must admit that during my time as a banker, Hermina Hospital was one of the most efficient hospitals. I congratulate Hermina Hospital for its success. Maintain your efficiency, uphold your quality; Hermina has a unique business model, and I see that it works well in balancing hospital operations and available resources, particularly the workforce. I hope Hermina Hospital continues to grow, establishes more hospitals, and develops in line with the progress of our nation,” said Budi Gunadi Sadikin. 

dr. Hasmoro revealed, “In the first phase, we have built a 5-story facility with a total building area of 9,290 m2, complemented by parking facilities for approximately 156 cars and 77 motorcycles. This initial phase includes 100 beds, with 21 beds allocated for Class III patients. We are committed to making Hermina Hospital PIK2 a referral hospital, especially for emergency services, maternal and child care, perinatology, and child growth and development.” 

Hermina Hospital PIK2 offers a range of healthcare facilities, including 24-hour emergency services, outpatient clinics, growth and development clinics, inpatient wards, intensive care units (ICU, PICU, NICU, Perinatology), delivery rooms, operating rooms, and advanced medical support services such as pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology. The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Digital X-Ray, 128-Slice CT Scan, 3D/4D Ultrasound, and Mobile X-Ray. 

“Hermina Hospital PIK2 aims to become an eco-green and smart hospital with both national and international accreditations. Our goal is to serve a broader range of executive and non-executive patients,” added dr. Hasmoro. 

It is hoped that the presence of Hermina Hospital PIK2 will be well-received and provide significant benefits to the community, particularly the residents of PIK2 and its surrounding areas.
